The amount of uninsured/untaxed/unMOT'd cars on the road has dropped in the last ten years due to SORN, electronic databases and most crucially ANPR cameras.
As for driving standards I have to agree with you there. Being on two wheels as well as four means that you are effected more than most and the amount of people trying to occupy the same position on the road as myself all because they simply haven't looked is growing rapidly.
It used to be boy racers but now it's just as likely to be drivers of all ages and gender.
I now have a camera in the car and on my motorcycle helmet and would recommend anyone usingthe road to get the same.
As a new sticker on my car says "Save a biker, open our ******* eyes"
