Most interesting. Very surprised LG used such an open sourced platform as XMBC for what is meant to be a closed platform.
Regarding RDK, this is the reason why I think Horizon will be launched in the UK. It's the standard being used across LG's operations, Comcast's and others. There is a much bigger pool of companies contributing to to the RDK stack which brings down costs, whereas TIVO is shut off to all but themselves.
