An interesting, if crushingly disappointing, puff piece in the Telegraph.
I've just written about it on the VMHD blog and found little I can be optimistic about. I've concluded

Although the Telegraph can run some puff about how efficient Liberty Global is with it’s economies behind the scenes it can’t really hide the reality of a TV offering that has lacked the necessary vision, attention and investment for far too long, a typical example of a media company that’s been run by accountants who have turned a blind eye to the opportunities of today’s technology and compelling content.

I'm not normally one of those who sees the worse in everything Virgin does, but this felt to me like a kick in the teeth for those who have loyally stuck with the company through a succession of unjustifiable price hikes whilst being stuck with dated technology and vague promises of a brighter future. At a price, of course.
