This is anticipated by VM, of course, alongside that at some point, be it a few days or a few weeks, the novelty will wear off and usage revert to normal.
There's only so much content to download and very few people are sad enough to download 'for fun' for long periods of time so no real capacity worries.
Download speeds are just numbers on a screen and numbers generally aren't interesting when there's no background behind them.
