The N66U can only get full speed with 200Mbps when using Asus or Asuswrt-Merlin firmware with Broadcom fast nat CTF function enabled, which means you have to disable IP accounting, QOS and some other features of router firmwares, wasn't possible with Tomato for me. I have no doubt the snb benchmarks are true, but achieved in a test setup with very fast servers on local Gigabit network, but there are are some incredible speeds reported from countries with Gigabit Internet connections. The newer dual-core ARM (wireless AC) routers are much higher CPU power and should be considered if buying new, but for now my N66 is fine....
