Yip you a right although sad but true, but at least they die in a humane way. We got our dog from the SPCA and the only reason it took them so long to re-home him I think was simply the fact he was not fully house trained nor a pup but with love and understanding he got there, maybe I'm biased but he is the best dog anyone could ever want he is so loyal. I know this sounds crazy but I think he knows he was given a 2nd chance. All to many people want a cute little puppy or kitten and never give a older animal a chance to become a family pet.
