Modem is a virgin ambit model E08co.13.00. Installed 2008.
Got a continuous fast pulse on the send light of my modem even when the computer (a Mac) is shut down. (Only ready/synch and power should be on). Enet light also fast pulsing when computer is on. Fault may have been triggered by problems in my area on Friday 11th. Noticed problem about noon when found I was off-line but synch and ready lights were solid—rebooted all, and back on line. Tried numerous restarts to remove problem, but send light pulses as soon as modem power is on. Tried modem restart with Enet cable temp
disconnected—no joy.
Am on line, no probs with email/net but am now worried I now have a flaky modem. Plan to ring 150 for advice unless fix suggested here.
