There's plenty of sci-fi on at the moment and more new series coming.

New sci-fi series (not Marvel/comic book) worth watching and current episodes:

The Expanse S01e10
Colony S01E07
Minority Report S01e10
The Man in the High Castle S01e10

Older (definitely worth a re-watch):

Ascension (2014) - mini series in 3 parts
Wayward Pines (2015) - mini series
Continuum (2012-2015) - 4 seasons
Dollhouse (2009-2010) - has to be watched for the final post-apocalypse episode
Fringe (on Netflix)

Other new stuff:

The Shannara Chronicles (fantasy/sci-fi mix)
The Magicians S01e06

The above two, although not sci-fi are well worth a watch.
-- SPOILER --The Shannara Chronicles starts with pure fantasy but later you find out it's a post-apocalyptic world far in the future where technology has become magic.--SPOILER--

Don't bother:
11.22.63 (bad time travel series)
