I watch programmes, I don't watch channels. Live is overrated. A few minutes (notional) delay won't kill you.

I could I guess, but what would be the point of arranging my schedule to fit with some TV execs idea of when I should watch a programme? Just so they can serve me advertising. That would be going backwards. That model is dying and will be dead in a few years.

Exactly. I'm often pausing stuff to create my own breaks anyway and come back to it when I'm ready.
