Just received a very official looking email, 'apparently ' from Virgin Media.
This was the main text in the message.

Please update your profile with Virgin Media until 23, January 2016. Failure to update your profile until the limit date may lead to service interruption.
To avoid any inconvenience, we strongly recommend to update your profile with Virgin Media now.
A very convincing looking message and the website it takes you to looks very good.
I didn't enter my details of course, especially as it asked for my card number as well.
