Sure on this? Given they're being handed to all and sundry ordering the appropriate tiers it's looking an awful lot like the 'official' modem now.

VM are certainly running 2 trials, however they are rather good at running trials while simultaneously giving out the hardware in production. Usually you'd run trials with select groups and iron out issues before you start providing the modem to unselected customers who aren't being asked to provide feedback.
