I had a similar problem with the SH1, and I bought a TPL-WR841HP (TP Link Wireless Router model 841 High Power).

For a router that cost £29.99 (store was trying to clear old stock), its lasted me a long time without any issues at all. Its had 1 reboot since I bought it, to upgrade the firmware. The only other time it went offline was a power outage.

Aside from that its given me great service. So don't disregard the cheaper end of the spectrum for routers either.
