I fequently see people complaining about those who download pirated content and must admit doing a little myself but...
Is the existance of pirated content and the attempts of the various content protection bodies attempt to be likend to the sea and King Canute??
Are the content holding bodies still slow in providing new content?
Is it right that one country should get content weeks before another considering the power of the internet now?
Aparrently there were over half a
billion takedown requests in 2015 just via Google!
That said there is no available record of what they were infringing considering the confidentiality rulings Google has had to conform to.
AFIAK if you complain about a photo of you it will be taken down but according to
Torrent Freak they are copyright infringement takedowns.
Personally I think they are just wasting their time and Googles and should make their content available quicker worldwide.
