Never, actually. However, I am aware of those who 'channel hop' and when I tried this myself in the early days, I found it an unsatisfactory way of discovering what was on. When you eventually find a programme you want to watch using this method, you tend to find that you are some way through it already, which is frustrating. At least with the 'Suggestions', the programmes are more tailored to your viewing habits and each one you can watch from the beginning.

I wasn't thinking of me when I wrote my post, I was aiming my comments at those who tend to find their programmes by channel hopping.

I have always used a more sophisticated method of planning my viewing, and now I have so much choice, the quality of my viewing is now very good indeed.
