Re: Is this the most dangerous man in Britain?
Is Osbourne the most dangerous man in britain, no he isn't if he went tomorrow the main problem would remain that problem being modern interpretation of Tory ideology and the worst way to implement it if it wasn't Osbourne it would be someone else doing the same. I don't think UK politics has ever been as vacant as it is now Tory's that are out of touch only pausing when the opposition shouts loud enough then sneak it in later when there's something else to concentrate on. Labour well what can you say about them shambles would be a compliment at the minute I can only think the reason labour is where it is, is a part of some plan by the non Looney in the party to show what happens when the patients take over the asylum. If it isn't then we are all royally screwed as lack of any opposition will see these currant bunch of Tory's in for God knows how long and I don't even want to think of the wreck of a nation that will be left after they have finished.
I saw blame being pointed at the majority who didn't vote as to why we are where we are, but here's the problem I've been a conservative voter my entire adult life and until the last general election had voted all my adult life. I cannot vote for this conservative party in good conscious but as a Tory couldn't vote for labour so what am I to do go to the polls and spoil my ballot for what it's an action with no meaning in our political system. I do actually believe the currant political class want apathy they want tens of millions staying at home because then it's easier and if it isn't some form of plan then that's more depressing because it means our expectations and standards for our elected representatives have dropped far below what we should accept.
We have millions of voters in this country with no one to vote for as no one really has an interest in representing them or the values they hold, corporate corruption is rampant in our political system as it is elsewhere in the world the whole thing is a giant mess that no one who can just isn't interested in sorting and that is one of many factors leading to voter apathy and non voting.
