It'd be nice if the icon on the desktop shortcut could be made to look relevant to CF (as happens automatically in IE) instead of having just the Chrome icon with the new label under it, but at least it works this way.

One thing I've just noticed is that when I access the sites linked to the new desktop icons I don't get the various bars and buttons (eg address bar, bookmarks bar, back/forward button ) which are normally found at the top of the page.
