Now I know that there isn't much 4k content, but I want to upgrade my current TV and wanted any advice or opinions of upscaling through TiVo and watching services such as Netflix through VM especially as they have a 4k service.

I normally watch catch up services through a games console as it so much better than VM service.
I have just bought a LG 4k Tv. As with most of these new TV's they come with a Netflix and a Amazon prime app pre installed. I also got 6 months free Netflix sub(including 4K Films and shows) which is part of the deal when buying the LG TV.
The 4k netflix pictures are on another level.

So when you are looking for your new 4K tv look out for these free Netflix deals.
