As Denphone often intimates, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Each service has its pros and cons. Now, I'm part-way into a BT TV contract, I miss my freeview and freesat days - I think we take it for granted how good our free-to-view offerings are in this country.

If I could get out of my contract, I'd switch to a free-to-view offering and spend the saved money on Netflix and Amazon Instant Video. I think on-demand programming is the future - watching programs when you're ready to, instead of when the schedules dictate. And some of the Amazon or Netflix exclusives are very good indeed
