Just remember its a friendly.
Alright, we'll use the impeccable form of England in actual competitions then and not the most lopsided qualification group I've ever seen

Starting from the last three major competitions.

2010 World Cup 1 win 2 draws and 1 defeat against that calibre of competition. Germany is understandable.

England 1 – 1 United States
England 0 – 0 Algeria
Slovenia 0 – 1 England
Germany 4 – 1 England

Euro 2012

France 1 – 1 England
Sweden 2 – 3 England
England 1 – 0 Ukraine
England 0 – 0 Italy (Italy win on penalties)

World Cup 2014

England 1 – 2 Italy
Uruguay 2 – 1 England
Costa Rica 0 – 0 England

Total wins: 3
Total draws: 5
Total losses: 3 (4)

3 wins in 11 competition games is absolutely dire.

You can see improvement in 2012 with Capello at the reigns, only for him to drop the job after bogus and numerous interference's with the England team by the English FA. Only to employ a lesser manager in Roy Hodgson.

If anyone excepts anything other than misery for 2016 then you're going to end up as miserable as the last 3 occasions.

Friendly or no friendly, we proved exactly where we are in regards to the rest of the footballing world.

Russ will be happy knowing his own Wales put more commitment into International football than the England team, I have full belief a team like Wales have the desire to take the game to a team like Spain or Germany. England on the other hand honestly just look like Newcastle playing against Manchester City.

We praise Rooney for breaking a record? what record? You're going to give a guy hero status for breaking a goalscoring record and having only scored 6 times on the major stage, put that into perspective with someone else on the list: Gary Lineker 10 goals in 12.. If I also recall correctly, he completely eclipses Rooney in one tournament alone.

Our nation is damaged when it comes to International football and we've made no attempt to fix that. We're not producing World Class players, Ross Barkley? Can we actually sit there and compare him to Muller or Iniesta, he's never going to reach the stature of either of those players and I don't really have the answers, I just refuse to buy into this utter drivel surrounding England, I refuse to get excited over something that's not changing any time soon. I want England to win a World Cup, I want them to win a European cup. It appears there's far more teams out there that or more committed and more organised to do this though.

That was a test squad last night with notable fringe players that already look miles better than our first team players. They way they moved the ball about was delightful, they gelled as a team and they played like one too, England simply don't or can't play like this and that's a massive problem. Teams win World Cup's, not individuals slapped together under an average manager.
