You have to give an IP address to second AP that is outside the range of the first router & you have to turn off the DHCP server& NAT of the second AP.
Went through setup mode on the router. Turns out with ASUS, you can use the WAN port as a LAN port in AP mode to give you effectively a 5-port switch.
