Same here. I think it's a big cockup. I also rebooted the SH because i noticed last time it can take 2-3 days for the portal to update after the hit has been sent to change config.
It's probably going to happen tonight. I ordered online for 200 on the 30th of Oct and it went live at midnight on the 1st which was 48 hours nearly.
When I did 50-200 I got something in
https://my.virginmedia.com/trackorder/view-orders but right now, like you said it's showing as if I never did it and there is nothing in the order tracker. I'll do it again just to see.
I did it again and once again have a reference number but nothing is showing up. This is odd.

I've just called them and they said and I quote " The system says it is ready now but it takes 30 days to apply, however my area is still end of December"

So VM are lying to people..
