With the cost of things these days I know many working people who cannot afford to pay more in council tax to keep police officers and also do not want that to be the way council tax is decided. Apparently when it suits them the economy is doing better then expected and everything's rosy then the next week we find out the next thing that's going to be cut. We have an extremely politically dynamic economy at the minute that always appears to do exactly what the politicians need it to do. To be honest we could have the biggest booming economy in the world and there would still be cuts because it's ideology driving things at the minute not the real life situation of most of the citizens in the UK.
