BT has so much fibre in our building, it's ridiculous. Every time a new leased line is purchased, they deploy a completely new fibre line, they don't reuse even the defunct fibre that's in the basement.
Which of course means it takes months to get said line installed.

Hopefully this will change. I read something a couple of months ago that said they will be trying to re-use inactive fibre. They do at least know it's a huge waste.
