Ah right I'll still call about a new superhub as I think I'll be going down the route of the new adapter that thenry linked me to. I'm guessing the adapter is a universal item that upgrades iffy ones like mine? Many thanks to yourself qasdfdsaq and also to thenry for the help and advice.
