Virgin have been cautious to use 'widely available' in their advertising, hence why they can still advertise 152Mb as being twice as fast as BT and Sky, even though Sky offer 940Mb to a very small footprint and BT 300 to one not that much larger.

The 'widely available' is also behind the claims of being fastest even though Hyperoptic offer 1Gb, as do Gigaclear, while SeeTheLight also offer faster than VM.
