You can get 400Mb/s of useful throughput out of it but it's not advisable to go beyond 200Mb. If someone is on 300Mb and locked to 8 channels they will be eating, in full, 6 of them, leaving 100Mb for everyone else on that 8.
Makes the statistical contention get messy.

Which shows how silly the EU 5ghz channel range is.
Although more than 8 channels are available, lots of vendors are locking them off as they dont want to implement complex restrictions on the radar channels.
