Reports we have seen over the years say that Premier Sports want to be on the XL Package for good but Virgin Media wants Premier Sports to be an add on Channel.
We feel that Virgin do not want Premier Sports on the XL Package down to the fact that:
-Premier Sport broadcast the same line up as Setanta Sport Ireland.
-They are both own by the same people who run Setanta Sport UK before it was axe in 2009.

Premier Sports was formed in 2009 by the Irish businessman Michael O'Rourke, a joint CEO and part owner of Setanta Sports.
