So my happy thought is I have a truthful son who heart is in the right place.
See, my mum would have gone mad. But then she always did when I tried doing housework for her to help. Didn't hoover properly, etc. In the end I just told her to either accept my help and accept it won't be done to her exacting standards or shut up moaning about nobody helping with housework. I was only 15 at the time though. But you know, you try helping her and it was thrown back in the face. I gave up in the end. Easier to be called lazy than have whatever I did analysed.
