I have had no issues apart from Cortana failing to work at first..and the screen saver going grey but sorted after a play around with the settings..nothing major.

Avira looks the best bet with Avast for outright performance.
Still no issues for me..no lag of any kind and the CS is second to none.you should have emailed CS..they might have solved the issue for you..
