My point was that given Now TV is available on Roku (as well as other providers), this shows that Sky Atlantic is not being withheld from other platforms.

Of course, VM may have their own reasons for not making Now TV available to its TiVo customers, but that is a separate issue.

I would like to see Mr Malone make good on his promise of maximising the amount of content available to cable customers without necessarily owning the content.

If. Now TV is the only mechanism by which we can access Sky Atlantic, ITV Encore and other exclusive content, I think VM should bite the bullet and add it into our streaming services in the same kind of arrangement it has with Netflix.

VM may take the view that it is not a good deal for their customers, but I and others have taken precisely that decision in subscribing to Now TV outside the Virgin Media service.

They should let their own customers decide.

Not sure I quite understand your comment, Dave. SA is available on Now TV.

Now TV is available on a number of different devices.

This indicates to me that it is Virgin Media who are refusing to take this or any other available option to secure the channel
.

Thanks for clarifying, Dilly.

However, my main point is correct, because Sky don't own all those gaming consoles and TV makers that give you access to Now TV.
sky will only let SA on it own platform sky own now tv why is it on no other platform because sky wont let anyone one else have it
