If it good for other local Radio channels it can easy come to BBC Local Radio.
Really? Don't we have enough pseudo national ILR stations as it is without the same happening to the BBC. ILR was good until all the mergers & the penny pinching started, to such an extent that I now no longer listen. Up until a few years ago we had 5 different ILR stations available here. Now we have 5 Heart stations all doing the same thing at the same time. Only the adverts are different. Some of the best community programmes on my local BBC station are during the mid morning to lunchtime slots. There are also stations like Radio Cornwall that heavily promote the Cornish language during their programming. OK, so we do now have community radio, but it does not have the resources or coverage the BBC can offer.
