Virgin, in my humble opinion, would be better dropping BT Sports from XL and reinvesting some of the money saved in beefing XL up in other areas i.e SKY Atlantic, all missing HD channels, Netflix included in XL and the likes of Premier Sports and Boxnation for the sports fans. That for me would make XL a much better rounded package making if much more attractive to a wider spectrum of customers.

I can understand where you are coming from, Chad, but VM appear to be basing their USP on the value of their sports package. This is probably a wise commercial decision.
While I would welcome the addition of Sky Atlantic to the XL pack, I think it is more likely that they will add the Now TV streaming service.
