The BBC is a dinosaur and so is the licence fee! Maybe this will at last wake them up to the fact that the world has moved on and they no longer are the only tv channel provider in this country. The only option if the BBC want to survive and indeed compete for viewers is to scrap the old fashioned licence fee, become a subscription and advert carrying channel. I know peole don`t like adverts but it is the only way forward as far as I`m concerned. The BBC has been `freeloadng` for far to long now. I rarely ever agree with this government or it`s MP`S but I`m totally behind them on their call for the licence fee being scrapped.
