Re: Illegal Immigrants - 68 People Found In Lorries At UK Port

It doesnt matter how secure our borders are, if people want to get into blighty then they'll find a way.
Look at the US/Mexico border, they have a 20ft steel wall erected and the US gov spend billions of $ trying to stop the tide of human migration yet they still get in.
According to Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal..._United_States
Quote:
In 2012, an estimated 14 million people live in families in which the head of household or the spouse is in the United States without authorization
And according to Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal...United_Kingdom
Quote:
The most significant change in this estimate is however the inclusion of children born in the UK to undocumented migrants. For the LSE team undocumented migrants oscillate between 417,000 and 863,000, including a population of UK-born children ranging between 44,000 and 144,000.
