when you say no network do you meant windows is saying that when you hover over the icon on the task bar. If it is windows saying it it means that there is no network connection to the shub. It isn't referring to external access to VM and the internet. You need to be looking at your NIC in your pc and the cable. Is the cable connected and snapped into the ports on your pc and shub? Are there any visible signs of damage? As far as your pc goes have you changed any settings or installed any software which would affect the drivers for your NIC or motherboard if it is an onboard NIC? If so you might want to consider either rolling back the driver or doing a system restore to a few days ago when you know it was working.

To try and iron out what is the issue the best thing you can do atm is to first try moving the cable to a different port on the shub. If that doesn't work try a different cable (if you have a spare one). If that doesn't work you then need to try and connect a different device to the shub. If the second device has network access then you know it is the pc which is the issue. If it can't get network access then you know it is the shub. You can try a factory reset (aka pin hole reset) and if that doesn't work you can call tech support and tell them it is bricked.

Just to clear things up: routers manage your lan and create subnets so even if your internet connection was down, your pc and any other connected devices (think tvs, wireless printers, tablets etc) would still have network access and be able to talk to each other. The shub basically creates a home network for you and allows the connected devices to go out on the internet. Your pc is telling you it cannot access your home network.
