I would be surprised if the move away from the i-player continued, however, and I think it would be wise to wait a bit before deducing anything from this.
The closure of the Global I-Player seems a bit premature, however. I would have thought that would have had potential for the future. New forms of digital technology do take.time to catch on, though. Maybe it was just a little before its time.
