BT will be forced to let rivals take control of its lucrative high-capacity fibre optic lines for businesses under new rules proposed by Ofcom to increase competition.
The regulator said the former state monopoly should provide ‘dark fibre’ access to the likes of Sky, TalkTalk and Vodafone.
