The ads will come with it though. Do you seriously think there will be no more ads ever on the Sky Movie service?

No, that is so can delude people into thinking they are going to get a better deal by potentially going On Demand. The non-skippable ads would the potentially come when enough people are stupid enough to believe there is a "better alternative" and (potentially) take up On Demand. All the ads will be forced on those who go On Demand.
