You need to be specific as to what the US Tivo has that VM has screwed up. Bear in mind the closest US model is the Premier and that has functionality that UK broadcasters simply won't allow.
The speed of the UI, it's awful. Especially since the last 'update' with apps taking longer to open, moving on to other screens etc.

The colour, that garish Plum.

Suggestions, which were working fine then VM screwed them up for a long time.

The constant iPlayer issues, that VM like to blame the BBC but works fine on their other platforms and also Smart TV's etc.

Slow app development, we were told hundreds were coming by VM.

The hundreds of known issues/faults some of which are still completely ignored by VM.

Do I really need to go on?
