Two questions being answered. Yes, l know that The Emirites is Arsenal - and no nothing to do with that

Grassroots football - I was a referee for five years, and some of the grounds that l have played in are in a terrible conditions.

I know that parks, are used for Sat and Sunday football matches - this is what l call Grassroots.
I live near Gunnersbury Park, years ago, you couldn't get a pitch on there - there was 30 pitches. This is now run by a private company. Appalling conditions.

Warren Farm, again very popular for Sat / Sun games, again appalling condition. And recently sold by the Council to QPR as there new training ground.

Grassroots football is local pitches in Parks. This is where scouts pick talent for the future
