Putin is a danger and as he fails to deal with things within Russia he will become more dangerous trying to distract and instill fear into the russian people with external adventures his problem is that the Russian people of today and those old soviet citizens he'd love to have have zero in common. He is facing increasing pressure on many fronts from within but as they mount so do his international gambles and sadly i think he'd rather see the world burn with him leading russia then bow out gracefully and make way for newer more sensible politicians.

Only thing I'm damn sure of is that this is not a time to reduce our military further or attempt any economic only solution, force and the readiness to use it is the only thing that will limit and contain him.
