As does Now TV - but I'd think that's because the service and the channels are either owned by the same people i.e either BT or Sky.

Same as the BBC support Chromecast, but neither Sky or VM can offer BBC via their own streaming services.

Personally I'm not trying to justify the distinction, but it is what it is and both Sky and VM have to comply.
