My apologies if you are finding the badinage too much.
Most Pongos* I worked with liked a bit of banter and joshing - you seem somewhat averse to it. Most of them (especially the Paras, 'Them', and 14th Int, took great delight in highlighting our military 'shortcomings' - we used to point out that was why they were there......  ).
Were you a Rupert?
* 2nd Royal Anglians, 2nd Para, 229th Signal Squadron, 9 Sigs Regiment, 14th Int, 'Them'......
