Re: Sikhs helping the homeless

I have always found the Sikhs i know to be very helpful and caring.

I have a friend who i used to work with and he is a sikh and his family and they have been over for sunday lunch at my home a few times with my son and his boyfriend to and we have always had a brilliant time.

My Neurologist to do with my strokes is also a Sikh and he is a brilliant and wonderful guy.

I once asked my mate before he came over for lunch his views on homosexuality because of my son and i didnt wish to offend his family or him by inviting him over and he said exactly the same what is in this article here...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikhism...al_orientation

"Views on homosexuality tend not to be a primary concern in Sikh teachings, as the universal goal of a Sikh is to have no hate or animosity to any person, regardless of race, caste, color, creed, gender, or sexuality."
