Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8

£^&*()% cancer.

Back in November my mum had surgery to remove a section of bowel, in January I went with her on a Saturday to a hospital in London (UCHL) 3 hour round trip on tube (NO parking) for a CATSCAN, and went back on the Monday she was told it was cancer but small and no problems.

Today she went with my sister and was told another section of bowel has to be removed as it is cancer and their is something near her Pancreas and thyroid, so need 2 trips to hospital for surgery.

The problem is the surgeon whose the best man in the field only works at the Royal Free Hospital in London and its 1-1/2 hours by car to get there.

So visiting hours are going to be a bitch, as it will require afternoons off work, but who cares, it for my mum.

STAY AT HOME: I found out that mum will never walk again as the coronavirus attacked her nervous system. She died on September 30th.
