Around our way, we tend to get more cold calling done in person. I lose track of the amount of people offering me windows, doors, drives, solar panels, 'did you know its law now to have x mm of wall insulation - I notice you don't have any' etc etc.

I worked out the very best tactic for this a while ago. I open the door, look at them and mutter 'cannnsaull' in my best east enders accent. They leave immediately.
