[uber-pedant mode] Strictly speaking, VM were themselves the cause of large amounts of WiFi congestion in the past, firstly by having some of the heaviest users (which may still be true) but also by supplying a Superhub that originally was not WiFi compliant and caused twice as much interference as it should have. Furthermore, the original Superhub's 5Ghz channels were not DFS compliant so all of them were compressed onto just four channels in the 5Ghz band instead of spreading evenly across 19 channels. Both those factors have now been fixed, *but* they could still do more by moving everyone onto 802.11ad...
