I thought we had reached it some time ago but but I was proved wrong. The latest thing has been upping line rental substantially. I hope Vodafone's entry into the market helps keep prices down but the amalgamation of O2 and 3 should see a rise in mobile phone tarriffs as per the experience in Austria. Analysts Jefferies stated “Austria is the classic case in which low-tier (€7-10) price points were raised by €5-10 post-consolidation with mid/high-tier segments also stepping up later.” http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/5b937fea-a...#axzz3QQrHhdOU (registration needed)
