The IS issue is largely an internal one amongst the Islamic world. They are having a 'civil war' which we should, to a large extent, keep out of.

There is no benefit to us going balls to the wall there. They need to sort this between the various Islamic sects.

Should they show signs of becoming a genuine threat to us via, for example, nearing the acquisition of WMD or getting uncomfortably close to a member of the NATO alliance or the EU/EFTA/EEA they can, and will, be dealt with.
