Silly woman. She has not done herself, or her child, any favours at all. Maybe a few of her cronies will back her up but on the whole I think she will just be a laughing-stock.

Fair enough she has paid out £15.95 but she would still have paid that if the child had attended. Maybe she will ask for a refundable deposit when she arranges any birthday parties in the future, goodness knows how she would have coped with recouping the cost of cleaning a carpet if any food had been spilled had she held the party at home.
